A passion for blinds

Sun Shield is a family owned and run business that was born from separating the blinds and domestic works from a sister Company (Technofilm Ltd). Eventually, the demands of this separate Company demanded so much attention that it was seen as sensible for it to run as completely independent organisation. The connection remains with the sister to this day (literally) but Sun Shield Limited / Sun Shield Direct is now completely independent.

We operate from our base in West Sussex where we have lived for over 20 years. We install our blinds, signs, glass splash backs and a variety of associated products throughout London and the South East of England but have been to Ireland and many of the major mainland European countries for our major clients. Within reason we will go where the work is!

Our association with all major blind fabric manufacturers and their systems mean that we can offer truly independent advice to suit budget, specification or heart's desire. You expect good advice from any organisation and we will do our utmost to provide you with unbiased, honest appraisals of your requirements. It will only be our own staff who visit you to discuss your requirements, not a rep' nor a commission agent.

It may seem too simplistic to use the term "a passion for blinds" but it really fits the bill. Because we can install any window dressing you might require we can be seen as a one stop shop. Although, in our case the shop comes to you!
